Caroline Nakuya was a loveable young lady who inspired and encouraged others, she deeply loved and respected her friends and was deeply committed to finding ways to benefit individuals and society.
She was a good organiser who had good leadership skills and was always dedicated, diligent and committed to achieving her goals. she was a strong person in all ways.
Caroline donated her organs, to two parents of different families who got a second chance of life and the opportunity to raise their children.
A lady with 3 kids in her early thirties who had previously been diagnosed with kidney failure two years prior, was the beneficiary of one of Caroline's kidneys. She got a precious chance to live.
The second beneficiary was a gentleman in his late fifties who also received Caroline’s second kidney and recovered very well, having been on dialysis for five years .he also had 3 kids.
Caroline always desired to help the disadvantaged young girls in the third world countries especially where her family originally came from together with the support of her family, Caroline‘s friends and concerned volunteers ,we saw it fitting to carry on Caroline‘s vision, regardless of her being away from our eyes because her memory and spirit lives on through the CAROLINE NAKUYA YOUTH FOUNDATION.
We believe that we can together raise awareness for this cause and raise funds in her memory to help the less fortunate.
